UNTITLED I

December 23, 2025

A lot of my scrolling and tinkering recently has led me to question many of the interfaces we use every day.

Most software is built around certainty and a set of assumptions. As designers and developers, we assume clicks are decisive, toggles are binary, and progress is visible.

There’s no doubt these assumptions make systems efficient, but they also flatten how people actually think and act.

I think real interaction is slower, messier, and often undecided. So I started a small side project to explore that idea. I don’t believe every action needs immediate feedback, or that every choice needs to be explicit.

My goal is to explore alternative ways of interacting with interfaces we’ve all become used to. Not every experiment results in a better solution. In fact, I’m not trying to “fix” any of the interactions I work on.

This is a record of small disagreements.

I don’t expect these ideas to scale. I only expect them to clarify.
